I love my lips!

Over the past 8 or so months, particularly when I was in London, I became obsessed with fun fashion. Having to do with this fantastic topic, cropping up only in the last 8 months or so as well (mainstream at least,) lip tattoos! No I am not talking about needles. Needles and I do not get along, whatsoever. What I am talking about: temporary tattoos! You know those awesome unicorn, flower, rainbow, car, heart, etc. tattoos you used to win either from vending machines or parish festivals (especially if you’re from any heavily Catholic populated area.) I first discovered these in London and wanted to try them out there, I mean really, you can get away with anything there and call it fashionable. However, given the time limit and other things on my agenda whilst I was there, I never got the chance. But while browsing the internet over this lovely Christmas Break of mine, and having been reminded by a friend at how I so could rock these, I looked into them again. There are a few more designs available, and I decided, What the heck!? It’s Christmas and I’m due for some retail therapy. So I have purchased a couple Lip Tattoos from the company “Violent Lips.”

Cinnamon Glitteratti

I’ve been doing a little bit of research on their company, and by little, I mean miniscule, but according to their website the company is owned and created by Jeff Haddad apparently “a veteran of the entertainment industry” and his two daughters Isabella and Sophia. While watching one of their tutorial videos, one of the daughters, I believe Sophia (but don’t quote me) mentioned that she is only 14 years old! Amazing, and ridiculous in my opinion. I think it’s great that she’s apparently had this brain child, but crazy. Especially when you see her recording tutorials, she looks like she’s 19 at least! So props to her, I wish I had a brilliant idea like that with the capital and support to get it started at 14! Another, it seems, industry prepared aspect of their company: all of their products are not tested on animals and in fact, considered vegan as well as made in America. It seems their company is ready to take the world by storm, so I’m wishing them good luck and I’ll let you know how I like the lip tattoo I’ve purchased once I use one! Hopefully I’ll get my shipment by New Year’s Eve- appropriate for a cinnamon glitter don’t you think?

Here’s how they look on my lips folks! I think they turned out pretty well =)

I had some fun with my makeup as well.. =)
